About the role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of people advisory, employee relations and workplace relations at Endeavour Group. In this role, you will lead a newly created shared service providing support to our team and line managers for all general people related queries and employee relations as well as shaping the group workplace relations strategy.

As a dynamic HR professional, you’ll play a critical role in the setup of the Team Services function including developing and implementing processes and plans that support the delivery of effective operational HR activities for all Endeavour Group team members.

In this role, you will also:

  • Partner at executive level on complex people matters including investigations, management and reporting of commercially sound Employee Relations outcomes
  • Manage external ER matters
  • Shape workplace relations strategy and lead negotiations of the relevant Enterprise Agreements
  • Ensure all operational ER advice and delivery is consistent and compliant with local and national employment laws, regulations, and any Endeavour Group-specific people policies
  • Analyse operational people data to understand trends, growth opportunities and risks and converting them into commercial business opportunities

About You

You will have proven experience leading a Team Services function and ideally, have experience in the setup of this function previously. You will be an engaging people leader with a collaborative working style, be agile in your thinking and adaptable to change. You will also be able to demonstrate considerable experience in the following key areas:

  • Experience in the provision of workplace relations advice in a complex environment (retail industry experience highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workplace, employment-related and OHS legislation and regulation
  • Experience developing ER related policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Proven background negotiating enterprise agreements, interpreting and working with Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct nuanced and sensitive negotiations
  • Having built a reputation for delivery across your career you will have proven experience in leading through transformation, leading a results driven team, stakeholder management and working effectively in a business undergoing complex and rapid change.
