Randstad is proud to be partnering with Mondelez International who are a multinational confectionery manufacturer. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Lead to join the team at our Croydon South facilit, previous experience within the Food or Pharmaceutical industrys is highly regarded.

About your new role

This position is a Warehouse Lead and in this role you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Supervise/Manage and assist the day to day running of the warehouse operations, with specific focus on inbound/outbound processing, pick face management, transport management, receipting, picking, and the timely dispatching of goods
  • Lead/manage the floor, and delegate workflow to 5-10 warehouse staff to ensure efficient, safe, compliant operations.
  • Develop strong inventory management practices to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Oversight of goods movements, inbound and outbound Provide mentorship with specific focus on team and personal development
  • Spearhead cycle count and inventory management control principles in line with group inventory management guidelines
  • Participate in and promote a safety culture supporting the business to maintain a safe working environment
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, with specific focus on process improvement
  • Receiving and dispatching stock both physically and in SAP
  • Managing the unloading of trucks and bulk deliveries
  • Following SOP’s to ensure the quality and accuracy of inbound materials
  • Regular stock takes and inventory checks
  • Cleaning the warehouse area and equipment
