Our Retirement Living business has a unique opportunity for a Head of Sales to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Managing Director – Retirement Living, this role will see you accountable for the effective sale of Lendlease Retirement Living resale and new sales activity, aligned with the business strategy.

The Retirement Living business consists of 75 established villages and 7 villages currently in development at various stages. This role is responsible for the development of the sales strategy to ensure that sales objectives are met and that the sales function is connected and consistent, and will see you responsible for driving a strong sales culture which is aligned to the business’s customer centric approach.

Further, your responsibilities will see you –

  • Accountable for ensuring that the sales strategy is well executed and accountable for overall sales effectiveness
  • Provide leadership and development to the sales team building a common culture to ensure they are engaged with the business and sales strategy to meet targeted results working closely with the other executives team members to ensure the customer experience is at the heart of the sales execution and strategy
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, expenditure & delivery against plan to Management
  • Keeping abreast of the external market and monitoring competitor activity
  • Accountable for approving forecasting, setting and delivery of sales targets across the portfolio
  • Grow the Lendlease Retirement Living business by continually pushing the boundaries and identifying opportunities within villages to increase sales and revenue through accurate and viable pricing strategies
  • Ensuring that sales revenue is maximised in line with business value drivers and sales targets are met by reviewing performance and accounting for any variance in results
  • Foster a creative, inquisitive but disciplined environment with a value-add culture

To see success, you will –

  • Have relevant Business or Property tertiary qualifications
  • Have a minimum of 10+ years of Property Sales experience
  • Demonstrate experience in managing a team with exceptional leadership skills to inspire your direct reports, across a range of National locations
  • Have strong numeracy skills, and sound financial and budgeting skills
  • Be willing to travel regularly to various sites across the portfolio
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of commercial residential property development and sales
