About the team

The Infrastructure and Place (IP) division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.

The opportunity

Reporting into the Director Centre of Excellence, you will be responsible to manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the IP Integrated Management System and its associated frameworks, processes and tools across the Infrastructure Project lifecycle to enable and drive project performance outcomes in a consistent manner. You will have a total of 7 direct reports plus a number of indirect reports.

About you

To be successful in this position you will have;

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and best practice with experience with certified quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing and delivering procedures and frameworks in a large complex organisation
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience and relevant experience in a complex infrastructure environment
  • Sound knowledge of project development and delivery requirements with knowledge and experience of the functional areas required within this.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a diverse range of stakeholders who have different and often divergent requirements and levels of expertise
  • Able to work in a complex environment with often competing views and priorities

Salary and Benefits

This is a Transport Senior Service role (TSSE (1A) level), fulltime permanent position, offering an attractive remuneration package.
