We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

• Deliver client services and project management excellence
• Experience integrating ecological approaches into design and engineering teams
• Work closely with multi discipline teams, including urban designers, landscape architects and engineers to achieve positive ecological outcomes for major projects
• Knowledge and experience in the implementation of NSW and Commonwealth regulatory frameworks and policy with respect to listed threatened matters, biodiversity impact assessment, offsetting and management
• Lead the development and delivery of ecological impact assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Experience in the application of the NSW Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) under the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme
• Be an integral part of multi-discipline teams working on major infrastructure programs such as Sydney Metro and More Trains More Services.
• Provide support with the development of proposals and bid submissions.
• Leverage existing client relationships and build new relationships in continued support of developing a more diverse and robust Advisory business
• Assist with business development and project delivery across Australia, and beyond, as part of the national environment and sustainability team
• Mentor junior environment and sustainability team members to build capability in a team focused and positive Environment
• Provide environment (ecology and biodiversity) support to key clients on the delivery of major infrastructure projects, noting that this work may be undertaken from client project offices as required. ​

• Tertiary qualifications in botany, ecology or similar.
• Minimum ten years’ experience in ecology.
• Experience in growing and leading a team
• Broader experience in the transport sector, ecology management and infrastructure delivery would be viewed favourably.
• Familiarity with Commonwealth and NSW environmental planning and biodiversity legislation and their application to facilitate the delivery of infrastructure projects
• Experience working on TfNSW projects (including RMS) ​
