The Role: This newly-created, hands-on role will lead a nimble and highly-skilled team of professionals in the newly-created Operations Change Implementation team. The role is responsible for managing a team of implementation managers, Operations User Acceptance Testers (UAT), involvement in strategic initiatives, as well as implementing small to medium unit registry client-facing change projects.
The role will encompass a mixture of leadership and implementation functions, specifically the management of team members, workload and any improvements relevant to undertaking key Change Implementation team functions.
Leading and managing workload of team members including Testing Specialists & Implementation Managers for key projects including:
Transitions and Operations related User Acceptance Testing
Trust Architect database configuration and ancillary system configuration to support Transitions and Operations Teams
Project documentation support to Client Change projects
Management of Client Change projects such as Fund Closures, Fund Launches, Restructures, Rebrandings, System Onboardings
Participating and testing the end to end model of strategic projects
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
Look for and recommend process and service improvements.
Maintaining Client Implementation team standards, artefacts and controls
Ensuring scalable and risk-centric approach is adopted
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on project deliverables
What you will need:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services space, ideally within Registry, Custody, Superannuation or Funds Management Operations
Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing and overseeing direct reports and support staff
Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing projects
Operations minded with an appreciation of procedures
Experience with process improvement and process documentation
Exposure to test cycles and associated testing-related documentation
