Job Description

As the Senior Contracts Manager in our Resources & Industrials division you will lead a team of three Contracts Specialists and report directly to the GM Finance & Commercial Resources & Industrials. The role will be based in our Perth city office, you will be required to travel regularly to our operational site in Forrestfield where your team will be based.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the contracts management team, process and discipline across the allocated region within our Resources Industrials Business Unit
  • Provide strategic and operational insights on key issues, opportunities across contracts and property management
  • Provide support the GM Finance & Commercial in contract negotiations, negotiations (customers and vendors), risk management, and management of troubleshooting services to support the business units.
  • Establish best practice in relation to contract management and deliver training to the business
  • Maximise return to the business through control of the centralised rate review management and system rate accuracy
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Direct experience in a similar Contract Management role
  • A legal background – a Law Degree will be highly regarded.
  • Proven track record in driving business performance through strategic contracts management and effective people leadership.
  • Exposure to resource, logistics or service-related oriented industry
  • Strong organisational and project planning skills – you take a structured approach to managing your workload and competing demands
