Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across well-known Australian household brands, and ensuring effective leadership and collaboration of cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business initiatives.

The Who:

As a result of internal Promotions, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Brand Manager to join us initially on a 12-month contract with the possibility to extend for the right candidate. The role will come in a drive the Frozen and Chilled category working on well-known household brands. We are seeking lovers of food flavour and healthier living and someone who wants to make a real impact! You see challenges as opportunities and seek ways to do things differently. You will be an outstanding communicator, have a curious and collaborative nature which inspires others to drive towards delivering your vision.

What you will do:

  • Develop the Brand Strategy to drive growth, long term equity & consumer preference
  • Critically evaluate and make recommendations for activities based on commercial return and strategic fit
  • Develop and implement high impact marketing to drive long and short-term uplifts
  • Translate shopper, consumer and category insights into compelling actions
  • Manage range/price/volume mix to optimise sales/returns ratios whilst championing product quality
  • Advocate brand guidelines and initiatives which build brand equity
  • Build close cross-functional and external stakeholder relationships
  • Collaborate with agency partners to develop strategy, communications, execution and packaging initiatives
  • Understand the end to end functional interdependencies and commercial levers to optimise activities and decisions​

What you need:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline – Business, Marketing, Communications (highly regarded)
  • 8+ years of brand management experience in a similar industry
  • Experience in Portfolio mapping and brand architecture development to identify growth opportunities and build brand vision
  • Experience in concept development and consumer research
  • Experience with New Product Development and Innovation
  • Experience in managing complex categories where there are changing consumer needs
  • Excellent management and development of innovation pipeline
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
