Manager or Senior Manager, Business Services and Tax.

They will give you the opportunity to really take your career to the next level. This includes an unencumbered path to a more senior Director/Partner role in the short to medium term.

The position.

Your specific client base will include a range of successful privately owned and operated businesses and their owners, who enjoy working in partnership with their advisors. Many are large and are across diverse industries including hospitality, environmental services, marketing, communications and franchising.

Your work will be far from just year-end compliance but will rather include:

• Tax planning
• The effective management of tax liabilities, distribution strategies, Division 7A,
• Sale of businesses,
• Succession and acquisitions, capital raising, preparation of Information Memorandums, due diligence and liaising with prospective purchasers etc.
• Day-to-day management of client engagements,
• Virtual CFO and management accounting work
• The coaching and mentoring of a talented and supportive team.

Your profile.

To be successful for this special role you will need to have presence, be confident in your abilities, enjoy networking and fostering relationships and be focused on building and developing relationships. We are definitely not looking for a 'Typical Accountant' for this role!

You will ideally have a minimum of 6-7 years' experience in a local professional practice, preferably in a medium to large sized firm and be a qualified Chartered Accountant. You will currently be a Manager and be looking to move to a larger and more responsible role.
