We have partnered with a well-known player in the Health space making a real difference to lives everyday with their unique Software offering.

This role is for a Deputy Development Director to work across our globally expanding organisation to own the life-cycle of our core business ERP product designed for Healthcare Sectors.

Our client is a market leading and innovative and specialist software firm.

We are looking for an intuitive, Deputy Development Director to join our Executive Leadership Team. You will work with our Technology Director and support the Development Manager to manage the Development Team; you will work to manage the product lifecycle of our software solution and the suite of products to meet the needs of our clients.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, commercial acumen, a big picture vision, and the soft skills to drive that vision into a reality.
The role works closely with the technical leads and cross-functional teams on various business initiatives. Plus the person in this role must have technical expertise to be able to speak with the CIO’s and CTO’s of our clients, as well as get in and code review if needed.

Technical knowledge must haves – at least 5 years expert knowledge in some or all the below:

  • Java and Tomcat
  • Oracle/MySQL
  • Angular

Required Skills and Expertise:
  • 5 years of business product management experience working on ERP products.
  • Strong commercial acumen to achieve strategic business outcomes
  • Hands-on experience in all stages of the ERP product lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to balance between feature development versus time-to-market
  • Good understanding of Agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practices
  • Solid grasp of development principles and a good understanding of front-end web technologies
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Great team player with respect for others, yet able to work autonomously
  • High integrity and transparency to assist with stakeholder management
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
