Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Analytics In this role, the resource will be responsible for rapid simulation and understanding of existing applications and technical environment, to convert business requirements into detailed functional requirements and build a solution framework.

Responsibilities:

• Work on short Analytics Consulting projects for Insurance clients across Australia and New Zealand
• Work on a variety of projects ranging from doing a data/analytics discovery, preparing a blueprint from an analytics perspective, leading delivery of creating insights/descriptive analytics or predictive models
• Work in various engagement models: Independent contributor, leading team with onsite/offshore analysts or working as part of a larger team which could involve team members from Insurance Consulting, Digital etc.
• Deliver high quality and timely output
• Report to Insurance Analytics Leader for APAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Significant experience involving quantitative data analysis to tackle problems
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
• Good knowledge of any statistical language (Python/R/Stata/SAS/Matlab)
• Knowledge of Insurance industry
• Experience in performing descriptive analytics; analyse data, hypotheses testing, prepare insights
• Experience in leading project delivery including ability to meet deadlines, overcome challenges, handle stakeholder expectations and produce project deliverables
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Excellent partner management and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Tableau or any of the visualization tools
