The Team
Tight-knit team of curious and high-achieving individuals who live and breathe Thoroughbred Racing. The team has a strong focus on continuous improvement and is passionate about growing Racing sustainability by tapping into a variety of skills & expertise across the business.
The role
Leading a team of 10 Thoroughbred Racing Analysts to engage Racing customers and grow revenue through leveraging in-house odds compilation expertise & modelling capability, to power strategic pricing and innovative Racing products
The core components of this role include:
- Engage team around vision and purpose
- Evolve sophisticated pricing strategy in line with promotional strategy to drive value perception and maximise profitability
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and bring to life Thoroughbred Racing growth opportunities
- Benchmark & monitor competitor offering to drive continuous improvement
- Build relationships with external partners to ensure the sustainability of Racing
- Enhance existing automation tools to grow revenue and improve productivity
- Play a key role in budgeting & forecasting, focusing on structural drivers of growth & profitability
- Monitor & anticipate key industry trends which impact business performance
You
- Extensive wagering experience, combined with a strong leadership track-record
- Substantial industry knowledge and a passion for Racing
- Commercial numeracy, with experience in budgeting/forecasting
- Understanding of modelling and trading automation
- Experience in workforce planning and operational leadership
- Related tertiary qualifications
