You will have experience in managing relationships and presenting financial information to senior leadership and a track record demonstrating how you have influenced the decisions they made thereby shaping the financial future of an organization. The role includes the standard aspects of Expense Management; ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information, monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting but the role calls for ability to process large amounts of data identifying insights and the ability to communicate those insights effectively. In this role it is expected that you will be able to influence the behaviours of senior stakeholders around spend to ensure that agreed targets are achieved allowing value creation.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Partnering and advising senior stakeholders on expense management
  • Delivering insightful financial information that shapes decision making
  • Having oversight of the end to end expense process relevant to the senior stakeholders function
  • To ensure that the relevant areas expenses are accurately costed and represent a true and fair reflection of expenses.
  • Perform critical analysis of processes to ensure that they support accuracy and reliability of the financial information.
  • Be involved in Performance and Expense management change initiatives
  • Be involved in the apportionment process

What are we looking for?

  • Confident individual who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • A person who has the ability of communicating complex financial issues practically allowing the business to action
  • Excellent financial analytical skills and methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and relevant accounting software packages.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience within finance/insurance industry with relevant tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics/Commerce, or Business.
