About Your Role

The Transport Domain is a prime contractor and system integration delivering smarter and safer solutions across Australia and New Zealand’s public transport and rail networks. As Director of Programmes you will manage and deliver projects in the Ground Transportation Systems (GTS) domain to meet customer requirements on time and on budget. These programmes include complex multi-unit and multi-disciplined projects.

Reporting to the GTS General Manager, you will:

Maintain excellent relationships across customers and Thales entities

Manage Project Managers responsible for the delivery of transportation projects and bids

Plan, execute and manage the implementation activities to meet project schedules, quality and cost targets

Plan and Manage projects resources

Manage of project risks, financial and contractual contingencies

Provide regular and transparent updates to stakeholders regarding project progress

Manage of all contracts and subcontracts related to the project

Ensure that all work is undertaken within OH&S policies and procedures in order to provide a safe working environment

Various other responsibilities as required

How About You?

Considerable experience in complex project management in transport industry projects

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams across multiple units – local and overseas
