In region support of ITO R process for a given P&L, providing primary interface with customer and field sales on all allocated ITO transactions for projects, including: proposals, technical studies, cost estimates and formal bids, owning the smooth execution those elements of the process used to create the technical and commercial content of a bid – from the Bid/No Bid decision to hand-off the Projects Management or appropriate OTR function.

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Developing practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals.

  • Executing business objectives involving short and long-term planning with the contribution to the overall business strategy.

  • Deep understanding of ITO R process and tools for ensuring appropriate bid compliance and risk mitigation prior to release of a proposal to a customer.

  • Become principal owner and driver of transaction details related to technical, financial, and commercial inputs to support strategy development and risk management. This includes negotiation with customer, delivering shareholder value while driving competitive pricing

  • Manage customer specification review, proposal development, contract development and negotiations, including equipment sales and service agreements.

  • Participate in Lean & Quality initiatives within ITO to drive process rigor, NPS and other improvements to overall ITO process.

  • Grow domain expertise to develop continually improving competence in the bid requirements and application scope of the P&L product lines and markets, working with sales and field sales to ensure that bids technical and price components are well aligned with market practice and customer expectations

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s Degree related to Commercial Management and/or Contract Law from an accredited university or college

  • Have preferred 5+ years’ experience in commercial or proposal.

  • Have proven experience in successful sales negotiation or close equivalency with the ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions, negotiate contracts, and deal effectively with customers

  • Have Green Belt certification
