The unique character of the building has been artfully restored and provides a charming foundation for this Brisbane CBD hotel, which is celebrated and upheld daily by the team members who work here.

We are currently looking for a talented Director of Sales who will be responsible for sales across all market segments at a boutique Fortitude Valley hotel. This street art 65 room 4 star boutique Hotel reopened in October 2020. We now need a sales professional to ensure the success of this property across all market segments.

Based on site and reporting to the Hotel General Manager, this is an amazing and rare opportunity for an experienced and passionate DOS, Sales Manager or a senior BDM ready for their next challenge. The successful applicant will have previous experience driving sales, sourcing new clients, maintaining existing relationships, maximising sales and increase occupancy through networking, promotions and marketing.


  • Minimum 2 years experience in Sales Management role, with strong exposure to Corporate, Entertainment, Government and Public Segment Sales as well as broad understanding of other segments
  • Experienced, successful and passionate about meeting sales targets and KPI's
  • Strong leadership and sales conversion skills, able to negotiate commercial outcomes and hungry to secure new business
  • Passion for managing and maintaining key accounts
  • Team player, great personality and passion for boutique hotels and the service that matches the quality of our product
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a dash of charm
  • Success in selling via lead generation and cold calling
  • Conduct familiarisation and site inspections at the property
  • You will have a 'can do' attitude and understand what it takes to achieve the best results and provide an unforgettable experience for their clientele
