The Centre

Murdock Education Recruitment are seeking two Early Childhood Educators to join this beautiful privately owned long day care centre situated in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Our Client cares for up to 90 children while helping each child reach their full potential by providing enriching, meaningful and real opportunities for learning and development through emergent educational programs.

This Centre celebrates differences through acknowledgement and acceptance of diversity within their community and values the insights and traditions that can be shared, respected, and appreciated within their service.

The role:

As an Early Childhood Teacher you will provide leadership in delivering high quality, inclusive learning programs within the Centre, ensuring each child’s needs are met.

You will:

  • Assess children’s learning and development and apply pedagogical expertise to inform curriculum decisions.
  • Establish, nurture and foster collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children.
  • Partake in professional performance and practice strategies to improve performance capabilities and further professional learning.
  • Engage in shared, sustained interactions with children which build warm, trusting relationships.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an overseas ACECQA approved equivalent (Highly experienced Diploma qualified educators are also accepted)
  • NESA Approved
  • Have a Current Working with Children Check
  • A Current approved First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Have a strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full time working right within Australia
