Our Field Service business provides an extensive portfolio of services operating in; mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and everything in-between. We enable owners, end-users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.

The key aim of this role is to become a subject matter expert across multiple customer touchpoints and demand engines. To identify and utilize information relating to customers installed equipment. This information provides the appropriate sales and/or marketing teams to drive proactive sales and/or marketing activity. Additionally, implementation and improvement of processes and demand engines is critical to our strategic growth plan, as such this role will work closely with key stakeholders, to identify, implement & improve processes, tools and systems relating to customer touchpoints.

Specific responsibilities will include;

  • To gain an understanding of the various information sources (touchpoints, systems and processes) where potential sales leads may reside
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in the utilization of potential sales lead information
  • Improvements in collecting, collating and cleansing of information in systems and processes
  • Ensure all stakeholders are trained and fully understand the desired outcomes of systems, processes and engines
  • Drive pipeline cadence, feedback for improvements, communicating successes and lessons learned
  • Work closely with customers to ensure contact, account and install base equipment details in the systems are accurate
  • Gain and maintain in-depth market dynamics and competitor knowledge and activity, providing feedback to the business
  • Update and manage business CRM

Success will require the following attributes and experience as a minimum;

  • Ideally, a business, marketing, sales or analytics qualification with experience in an information-driven customer experience or sales operations role
  • An understanding of customer touchpoints, systems and processes within a complex business, from a potential sales lead generation perspective
  • Ability to coach others in the identification and recording of sales lead opportunities from systems and processes
  • Strong learning agility and ability to quickly navigate the complexities of a large global matrix organization
  • A passion for identification, resolution and communication of process improvements
  • An agile tactical/operational mindset with the ability to understand and support a strategic direction, complemented by sound problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build effective strategic relationships, to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP/CRMs
