Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.

The strategic development of the Drug and Alcohol (D&A) clinical service within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) in keeping with agreed outcomes and operational processes of the organisation as well as the broader directions and requirements of the Drug and Alcohol Branch within NSW Ministry of Health.

Proven extensive management experience at a senior level within the D&A field and demonstrated excellent strategic planning/policy development and financial management skills. Relevant tertiary and/or post-graduate qualifications in business management, finance, public administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Proven ability to develop, monitor and reach predicted performance indictors/health outcomes/strategic plans/business plans and budgets. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and service development relating to new initiatives for existing or new services to improve health outcomes for clients and improve service efficiencies. Demonstrated high level written and communication skills including computer literacy, with a demonstrated ability to produce complex reports and submissions as well as demonstrated excellent networking, interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills. The ability to consolidate and build upon the partnership relationships of relevant stakeholders such as Probation and Parole; Corrective Services NSW; external Local Health Districts (LHDs); Non-Government Organisations; and NSW Ministry of Health at a strategic level in relation to the development and on-going operational processes/reporting processes where they relate to these individual stakeholders. Current NSW Driver's license (Class 1A or C) and preparedness to travel.
