The Finance Lead for our GSK Boronia manufacturing site is a key member of the site leadership team leading the continuous improvement agenda on cost, capital and cash objectives. This is a diverse role that will see you providing high level financial and analytical input to guide and support decision making and to measure and drive business performance. This is a contract role that will run until the end of 2022.

Your responsibilities will be broad and will include:

  • Leading the site financial performance delivery including operating profit and working capital.
  • Bringing strategic insight actively to decision-making and analysis considering the wider Pharma Supply Chain and GSK enterprise context.
  • Enabling discussion and decisions on ways to improve performance in line with business priorities.
  • Providing commercial insight based on standard management reports and knowledge of the business.
  • Leading initiatives on working capital, treasury and tax as required.
  • Leading a finance transformation project for Boronia Financial Planning/
  • Responsibility for monthly reporting sign off and providing commentary on key variances/business drivers and actions required.
  • Leading the financial planning including budget and forecast cycles.
  • Sign off quarterly judgment report and year-end management certification.
  • Leading risk identification and manage financial governance in support of delivering business strategies.
  • Responsibility for compliance to internal control framework (ICFW) and all requirements pertaining to group accounting and local statutory reporting. This includes internal and external audit requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • CA, CPA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in senior finance roles within a large complex organisation.
  • Manufacturing finance experience together with a sound working knowledge of SAP.
  • Unparalleled communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent business partnering skills and ability to influence across boundaries and a broad range of cross functional regional and global stakeholders.
