Senior Finance Manager, Funds (Asset & Project Insight)

We are currently seeking a highly driven Senior Finance Manager to join our finance team to support our Funds Management function. This role will see you manage a high performing team to deliver accounting, reporting, forecasting and analysis activities to support the EGMF Funds and Asset Management and the Funds Finance business partners to meet their strategic objectives and compliance obligations.
As the Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include –
Oversight and maintenance of financial forecast models to deliver accurate and insightful information to support business decision making in understanding fund financial performance
Manage a team to deliver activities required for the Funds and Mandates to meet the requirements of all legislative and Investment Management Agreements/Fund Constitutions, including but not limited to,
- Quarterly capital management reporting, forecasting and compliance
- Collating inputs for AIR Reporting / LLIM Model Reporting
- Calculation of Fund CUVs, Fund quarterly distributions and management fees
- Preparation of fund annual financial statements,
- Preparation of Finance inputs to Investor reporting
Undertake the Fund Annual Budget process in support of the relevant Business Partner
Oversight and maintenance of Finance systems and processes to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial information
Collaborate and contribute to the successful execution of finance improvement initiatives across the Australia region Businesses including providing relevant subject matter expertise
Participate and contribute to IM Global Finance governance forums as appropriate to drive efficiency and consistency across global IM functions utilising systems
To see success, you will have –
Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CPA, CA or CFA qualifications.
Demonstrated leadership experience with depth of knowledge across financial reporting, planning and analytics
Fund accounting and tax experience is desirable
Agile in problem solving and have well developed influencing skills
High outcome orientation and drive with a value add mentality
First class decision making and influencing skills, focussed on driving the solution not the problem
Strong overall awareness and the ability to anticipate issues
An inquiring, strategic thinking mindset along with strong technical finance skills will see your success in this role.
