Managing the marketing + trade functions, the Head of Ecommerce is responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the ecommerce business. This includes strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic and product performance, amongst other things.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Orchestrate all aspects of a strategic ecommerce plan.
  • Combine existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers.
  • Direct integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates, overall order size and managing margin performance across a variety of product lines.
  • Regular reporting of territory performance on key KPI’s:
    • Traffic, Conversion, AOV, Revenue
    • New customer acquisition & CAC
    • Marketing cost of sale
    • SPA, Retention and OHW%
    • Gross Profit
  • Continuous monitoring of competitor performance and initiatives to ensure THG stays ahead of market activity by keeping up to date with industry/market trends and networking opportunities. - Driving accelerated new customer acquisition whilst reducing the CAC (Customer Acquisition Costs).
  • Full ownership of the Marketing COS% budget ensuring that channel mix participation improvements, within channel efficiencies and growth targets are implemented to underspend vs. the monthly / annual budget.
  • Build out all performance marketing plans and sign-off budgets aligned to P&L submissions and reforecasts with clear 3, 6- and 12-month planning cycles.
  • Driving forward the 3-year planning with the Head of Buying to provide on-going recommendations to the territory GM and Marketing Director.
  • Gives clear guidance to team members ensuring quarterly objectives are set and monitored and continuous feedback is given to team to aid their development.
  • Develops skills of the team – identifies individual training needs as well as encourages effective teamwork, KPI’s setting and communicating clear goals/targets.

We are searching for an energetic and experienced E-commerce Manager or senior level Marketing Manager, ideally within the beauty industry, with a strong track record of management and delivery.

You will also possess:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced D2C environment.
  • Ability to coach and mentor members in the team, ensuring their professional development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A commercially focused approach
