As theInternal Audit Manager you will be responsible for leading theexecution of the Internal Audit Plan and support the Head of Internal Audit inthe development of the Internal Audit Strategy. As a Financial ServicesSpecialist you will be a subject matter expert in financial risk and compliance. You will have specific experience in the compliance programs in an ADI and will beresponsible for the scoping, execution and delivery of technical audits.

You willalso lead and assist on other risk based internal audit work including scoping,execution and delivery of audits and advisory assignments. You will work withsenior stakeholders including Executives and Senior Leaders and at timessupport the Head of Audit in reporting to Board Audit Committees. You will leadand coach the Internal Audit team in completing audit work and support theircareer development.

Essential Experience

- Experience in a similar Internal Audit - Associate Director level role within the financial or professional services industry

- University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Finance)
- Application of APRA's prudential framework as required for Authorised Deposit-Taking Institutions (ADI) and General Insurance, IIAs and IPPF
- Demonstrated people leadership skills, including effective people development, team leadership and an ability to motivate staff and effectively manage a team
- Substantial experience working within a three lines of defense model focusing on compliance and/or financial risk, including a period within an internal audit function
- Demonstrated experience working with Executive level stakeholders
- Effective communication, reporting and presentation skills suitable for Board and Executive level stakeholders
- Ability to engage, communicate and build support with senior business leaders and other key stakeholders
