Based in the Technology Home Ownership team you will work within a integrated development squad/s to provide technology based services incorporating strategy, design, development, delivery and maintenance of technological solutions to meet business needs.

As a Technical Business Analyst you will be the primary liaison between IT and business end users. In this role you will;

  • Works with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery
  • Assists the Product Owner to define and own the value definition of Stories, including facilitating and influencing the prioritisation of the backlog
  • Act as an interface between Business and Technology to ensure that needs are met
  • Ensuring the requirements and solution align with the realisation of benefits
  • Analyse and understand business (and technical) processes, needs and issues, then convert them into business and technical requirements complete with Acceptance Criteria, which can easily be understood by the Development Team
  • Share accountability with other team members to help refine the Backlog and estimate Features and Stories
  • Facilitate story elaboration and refinement with development team to enable entry into planned sprints
  • Be proactive around risks, issues and blockers through raising them immediately for visibility and action

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience working in a Business Analyst position. If you have had exposure to Home Loans or Broker experience this will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to work with and alongside a range of internal stakeholders including; technical teams
  • An ability to work with ambiguity and be a strong problem solver to find solutions that will make a difference to the business
  • Strong presentation and attention to detail skills to create a variety of business documentation and to convert to user stories
  • Proven experience in managing different timelines and teams to an end goal
  • Ability to be self-managed and work in a remote environment with autonomy
  • Demonstrated knowledge of structured analysis methods, tools and techniques
