How will I help?

Reporting to a Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Group Functions and Services, the purpose of this role is to proactively strengthen the management of people risk across the Group, within the expectations of key stakeholder groups including customers, employees, investors, regulators and the community. You will deliver 2 nd Line operational risk oversight of people risk management, with a focus on end-to-end design and operation of remuneration arrangements.

You will work with Group Reward to implement framework and policy changes including response to legislative and regulatory reforms, and to design and implement processes to ensure that risk considerations are appropriately reflected in reward outcomes.

You will also support senior Risk leaders, including Group and Divisional CROs, to provide input into remuneration review processes, including risk adjusted remuneration. Furthermore, you’ll provide timely advice in relation to accountability and remuneration matters from a risk perspective.

What do I need?

A strong candidate will bring relevant experience in Operational Risk with expertise in providing Risk oversight to Human Resources. You will possess a strong understanding of the management of accountability, remuneration, governance and culture.

You will hold stakeholder management skills and highly proficient with both your verbal and written communication. You will be asked to challenge and hold your own amongst some key people across the organisation and provide your thought leadership on several matters.
