About the Company
Based in Brisbane CBD, this established, family-owned business has a successful track-record and great reputation in its field. With less than 50 employees to get to know through this project, and a strong business appetite to implement their first ever SAP ERP, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and personable Project Manager to join and lead the business through the cutover and transition over the next 4-6 months.

About the Role / Duties

  • As Project Manager, you will be responsible for typical PM duties including end-to-end management of the PM plan, project costs, status reporting, creating and updating the RAID registers, PIR, and Benefits Realisation, and all project communications (both internally and externally with the vendor partner); and
  • Given the size of the project (

Skills & Experience

  • The strongest candidates will have previous experience delivering similar ERP projects from bespoke legacy system(s) to SAP (or similar ERP);
  • You will possess strong understanding of formal project management methodologies, but most importantly be pragmatic in your application to ensure that the PM framework is fit-for-purpose and keeps the project at the optimal pace, the business remains engaged, risks are mitigated appropriately and issues are dealt with effectively;
  • Reporting to a senior Finance Executive, a high level of financial acumen and attention to detail with regards to managing and forecasting project costs and expenditure is essential;
  • You will be comfortable working in small-medium sized businesses where resourcefulness and self-starter attributes are critical, and developing and maintaining effective relationships (including with the vendor and implementation partner); and
  • Above all else, you will be a friendly, dynamic and transparent Project Manager. You will have strong ethics and core values and take great pride in the quality of your work.
