About the role

We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Project Manager – Track to create, develop, and lead a new track maintenance/construction team within the Infrastructure & Technology Rail Systems division.

Based in Sydney, your main focus will be to lead, build, develop and grow an outstanding track capability to meet our client requirements. You will also be responsible for:

  • Safe Project delivery at all times
  • On-track plant compliance and movements
  • Rail Operations
  • Manage bid and tender process
  • Detailed review of the project scope, budget, schedule, forecasts and quality requirements
  • Assess technical track risks
  • Review key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for increased revenue
  • Supply chain management
  • Project controls and reporting

About You

You have previously led a team and have built strong client relationships within the Australian Track sector. You have solid exposure to project management of track construction, maintenance, planning and logistics, as well as track plant knowledge.

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Construction
  • 10 years track delivery experience in NSW
  • Practical Rail Safety Accreditation knowledge
  • Appropriate rail and track specific competencies.
  • The ability to work autonomously, to organise and prioritise demands and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • An appetite to learn, grow and develop your career with an innovative organisation
