Job Description

OMD are looking for a Digital Account Director to work on a market leading client and be an integral part of our ‘We Got This' culture.

As the Digital Account Director, you will be responsible for developing digital strategies with the client and encompassing all digital media, data, and technology. You will work with leads for the specialist business units such as programmatic, paid search / social and data and technology to ensure the client is delivered and a connected and integrated digital product.

It will also be your responsibility to oversee the work of the Implementation and Planning teams to ensure that campaigns and projects are delivered to a market leading standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the strongest personal and professional relationships with clients. Focus on building trust with the digital team and marketing managers.
  • Ensure the digital and data strategy for the client leads the market and coordinate with the implementation teams to convert these strategies into campaign initiatives.
  • Represent OMD with key digital partners and ensure that the client access opportunities ahead of the market.
  • Support the trading director as they lead the negotiation approach with digital partners, including communication expected and forecast spends.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the client's key digital partnerships and JVPs
  • Provide guidance to the implementation planning team to ensure their plans contain cutting edge digital opportunities.
  • Act as the central client point for all digital channels and platforms, working with all internal stakeholders to deliver the client a seamless digital, data and technology product

Required Attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience within digital media or marketing technology teams
  • A skilled relationship builder and networker, able to form partnerships with a range of individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media and related digital channels with the ability to debate and improve strategic approaches and execution opportunities.
  • Detailed understanding of digital marketing technology to include ad-servers, DSPs, DMPs and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to be a team player and influence others to deliver their absolute best, helping upskill and develop the digital knowledge of all members of the client's team.
  • Constantly seeking to improve their knowledge of the digital and data industry as well as seeking new fields of knowledge.
