We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

• Maintain and oversee delivery a platforms roadmap, ensuring that all platforms continue to deliver value and efficiency to our stakeholders.
• Proactively identify gaps and areas of opportunity to automate, and empower the team to prioritise these to enhance performance and resilience.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and consultants, managing contract and service agreements.
• Keep abreast of new and emerging features in AWS and drive change/adoption where required.
• Take ownership of, and drive improvements to, shared infrastructure and areas of cross-cutting concern, especially: Shared infrastructure (CI/CD tools, AWS networking infrastructure, etc.), Security, Logging and monitoring and Cost engineering

• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with maintaining infrastructure and application consistency across multiple environments.
• Ability to manage and direct external suppliers of IaaS and PaaS services including computer operations staff acting for those suppliers.
• Experience with managing external consultants and ensuring project deliverables and skills transfer occur as part of the assignments.
• Familiarity with IT service management and processes, particularly capacity, change and incident management.
• Experience in designing, documenting and implementing Information Security Policies, DRP and BCP for SaaS organisations.
• Experience with automated monitoring and alerting of key infrastructure components at varying layers (hardware, network, operating systems, application).
• Ability to work effectively across geographies, including with offshore teams.
• Core Agile and DevOps principles, especially Scrum and Continuous Delivery.
• AWS, especially CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3 and Route 53.
• An understanding of audit standards and processes related to financial services.
• Experience in an agile working environment.
