Your responsibilities will include:

We have a number of project management opportunities across our business. The focus of activities will vary according to the specific role, however broadly you will support :

  • Program management activities such as cost and schedule management, internal/external stakeholder engagement, risk and opportunity management, Earned Value (EV) management, subcontract management
  • Program management artefacts such as plans, schedules, reports, basis of estimates

In support of new business you will :
  • Lead or be part of a New Business Capture Team(s) that delivers:
    • CM products (e.g. CM Plans)
    • PM products as part of RFI, RFQ, RFT responses (e.g. draft PMPs, Basis of Estimates, Contract Master Schedules, Risk Registers)
    • Supports contract/subcontract negotiations (as required)
    • Pre-contract award contractual deliverables
    • Supports program ramp up activities

About you:

We are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers that bring experience within complex programs.

Our defence based programs are ideally seeking relevant experience within defence although we are flexible across the domain and understand that you may be keen to continue to focus within a specialist area or are keen to broaden your experience. Candidates will ideally have a current or reinstatable NV1 defence security clearance

Supporting our broader program performance function and our non-defence based program we are keen to hear for experienced Senior Project Managers with relevant experience in an aligned industry with proven experience in complex, multi-disciplinary projects/programs.

Common to both:

  • Significant experience in negotiation and resolution of complex issues to achieve a positive, commercially focused outcome
  • Significant experience successfully delivering against requirements, schedules and budgets in a complex environment
  • Strong understanding of the interactions between programs and the engineering disciplines, finance, commercial, support and quality areas
  • Significant ability and/or experience providing direction and coordination to a team of professionals
  • Qualifications in a relevant degree and/or project management qualifications

Special Requirements:

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and be eligible to gain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Employment may be contingent on the satisfactory result of criminal and/or other background screens, which require the collection and transfer of personal information.
