TPG Telecom Enterprise and Government (E&G) is the division responsible for business, enterprise and government customers. Our clients include some of Australia’s most iconic companies, along with not-for-profits, schools, health providers, national, state and local government agencies, small businesses and entrepreneurs.

TPG E&G is looking for a Head of Mobility Sales to create opportunities and close sales of mobile connectivity as well as applications, services and IoT solutions.

The Head of Mobility Sales will be responsible for a team of BDM’s to generate opportunities, work across the sales teams and channel partners to champion mobility sales, and be able to expertly position the TPG Telecom E&G 5G roadmap.

This role will also work with mobile specialist partners such as mobile device management application providers as well as the global Vodafone Mobile and IoT teams to leverage their capability. This will ensure that we innovate and create Proof of Concepts around new Applications and Services and IoT solutions, to build up a repeatable portfolio of Solutions, Applications, and Services. You will be a critical change leader, working closely with the TPG product, marketing and sales leadership team to drive commercial strategies that will help TPG succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business development and sales activity nationally around the Mobile portfolio.
  • Provide specialist expertise about the mobile portfolio to all sales teams and channels, to create and land sales opportunities
  • Identify mobile prospects not yet customers and position TPG Telecom’s mobile capability and pursue business development activities.
  • Educate internally and externally on the opportunity associated with the mobile portfolio and advocate for the TPG Telecom capability in this product set
  • Demonstrate innovation and differentiation to businesses, enterprise and government prospects and customers, through the introduction of new applications, services and IoT based on the mobile product set
  • Lead a team of specialists to work with sales teams and channels Australia wide
  • Be responsible for delivering the mobile sales target and pipeline target
  • Be the advocate in the market representing the TPG Telecom mobile capability including the 5G Roadmap.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the mobility proposition and ability to communicate this to customers as well as understanding for specific customer segments
  • Deep knowledge of end to end Mobility & IoT solutions and ecosystem
  • Ideally hold at least 10 years’ experience in technology and sales or business development, in mobile
  • Demonstrated complex solution sales skills
  • Must be able to share knowledge and work closely with a dedicated, passionate team locally and globally
  • Good soft skills in managing internal stakeholders and developing positive relationships
