AusHealth is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the AusHealth Work and AusHealth Hospitals Divisions which generate revenue that in turn, provides research grants.

Funding is generated by our activities and operations that include:

  • Workplace drug and alcohol policy, programs and testing
  • Workplace drug and alcohol education and training
  • Workplace vaccinations and wellbeing programs
  • Hospital payments recovery processing

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Chief Operating Officer drives change and innovation within their portfolio in accordance with AusHealth's values and as a member of the AusHealth Executive Team.

Critically, this will require exceptional leadership and communication skills allied with the ability to unify and focus human, financial and technological resources and leverage relationships internally and externally.

You will be an experienced and an accomplished Chief Operating Officer or SME CEO with commercial and financial acumen with a proven track record of managing, developing and delivering strategies, business opportunities, problem solving and change.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Demonstrated sales experience, including presenting at a senior level to existing and prospective clients across varying industries
  • Demonstrated financial experience in analysing and interpreting data, records and information to identify, interpret and apply strategies in "real time" to maximise profitability
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a diverse, professional group through transformation, positively influencing outcomes and delivering benefits across the organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in driving a culture of accountability, innovation and performance
  • Experience guiding, leading, mentoring and developing people to build organisational capability, capacity and growth
  • Proven experience as an effective member of an Executive team

This position is located in Adelaide and will require you to travel nationally.

Remuneration will be commensurate to knowledge and experience. This is a 3 year fixed term contract role. Please note that this position was previously advertised in January 2021 and we are continuing to seek a candidate that fulfils the above criteria.
