The opportunity

The Victorian Government has committed funding to implement a clean energy policy as announced in the 2020/21 budget. Sustainability Victoria (SV) will support the facilitation and implementation of this policy through the delivery of a portfolio of five programs supporting Small Business Victorian Energy Upgrades, 7 Star Plus Homes, ResourceSmart Schools, Community Power Hubs,and Community Climate Change and Energy Action.

This Regional Engagement Lead, Community Power role will initially focus on delivering Community Power Hubs expansion initiative across the state including the establishment of a metropolitan community power hub. Key to the success of this role will be your ability to provide leadership and support to others in the Regions team with a community power hub to deliver.

The role will also support the delivery of the Small Business Energy Saver Program, primarily through supporting contracted intermediary organisations that undertake recruitment and engagement with small businesses.

About you

You will use your capabilities in contract and project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, critical thinking, influence and negotiation to promote, monitor and lead the successful implementation of the program.
