An exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the Corporate Travel Management HR Services Team.

Reporting to the HR Services Manager ANZ, the Senior HRBP holds a key role that is responsible for supporting and advising employees and leaders across Australia and New Zealand on a wide range of employment-related matters in accordance with relevant legislation.

In this varied and hands-on role, no two days will be the same and will therefore suit an experienced Senior HRBP who can adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

The Senior HRBP will work closely with business leaders and provide consulting and coaching services to assist them in meeting their operational and strategic goals through effective people management.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with leaders and departments across the business in order to communicate and align HR strategy to meet business needs.
  • Provide a general HR consultancy service to employees and leaders.
  • Receive and manage all day to day enquiries from employees and managers in regards to all employee / employment related matters.
  • Support leaders through their management of the entire employee life cycle, from selection to appointment and onboarding, performance management, remuneration and rewards, and offboarding.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant employment law to ensure employees are treated fairly and appropriately and risks and issues for the business are fully understood. Act proactively to ensure the business is aware of and prepared for pending legislative changes that will have an impact on the business.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures remain accurate and up to date with the Company direction and relevant State / Federal legislation.
  • Ensure all employee records are accurate and up to date and accurately reflect all current people movements / situations.
  • Manage and maintain the Human Resources Intranet pages.

Skills / Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline with solid working experience in a HR Generalist or support role, with a willingness to undertake further professional development if required
  • Demonstrated experience in managing & supporting the business in all facets of the Employee Life Cycle
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Exercise sound judgement and discretion
  • A team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organisational, prioritisation and multitasking skills
  • Good working knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Experience as a HRIS administrator
  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with presenting HR information to employee groups
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
