What’s the role?

Support the delivery of the Growth Intelligence Research agenda and roadmap to enable the achievement of company-wide growth targets.

Reporting to the Head of Research, Growth Intelligence you will:

  • Design, conduct and deliver quantitative and qualitative research projects on the Growth Intelligence research agenda and roadmap to inform Group, Client, Consumer, Product and Editorial growth opportunities
  • Ensure research projects deliver robust commercially-oriented insights
  • Support the development of a best-in-class research capability within the Growth Intelligence research team, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects, and ensure they are delivered on time, in full and within budget. Nature of projects will vary in scale and complexity, and may cover:
  • Projects to drive growth from premium content categories and category verticals we currently operate in
  • Thought leadership into high value commercial categories and audiences
  • Quick-fire projects utilising community panel for rapid testing such as proposition or concept tests, U&A, creative testing.
  • Brand research including but not limited to brand positioning, brand health/brand equity, pricing etc.
  • Harnessing existing research knowledge centers and platforms to conduct category or audience deep dives, market scans, and targeted consumer investigations into emerging commercial opportunities.
  • Deliver robust research that is delivered with influential storytelling and strategic foresight to support insights based decision making
  • Model desired leadership behaviors to inspire and motivate fellow team members and contribute towards a customer-centric environment
  • 6 month parental leave contract

Who are you?

  • Extensive experience designing, conducting and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies to support strategic decisions
  • Expert knowledge and experience using Q or SPSS
  • Advanced excel skills with the ability to perform complex data manipulation
  • Experience using quant and qual research tools and knowledge platforms
  • Experience managing research supplier relationships and stakeholders
  • Can strategically connect disparate information sources and distill information into actionable insights and catered to intended audiences.
  • Research/strategy agency background preferred
