We have the finest cloud infrastructure in market and are ready to help our customer and SaaS providers operate and innovate on our cloud platform. Oracle JAPAC solution team is seeking an experienced Cloud Sales Rep to lead and expand the business with our hottest customers and ISVs.

Responsible for management, sales, forecast & reporting in a country/region. The Sales Director's mission is to drive Oracle’s cloud revenue whilst achieving sales targets and managing Oracle’s relationship with Key customers/partners in the region. Cloud Sales Director will manage a team of S ales reps and Managers. The Director will also guide his/her team towards building creative solutions for our end customes .

Detailed Description

• Build and develop a strong cloud Sales Team and organizational capability that focuses on sales excellence, skills and consistent performance

• Manage territories, forecasts, opportunity flows and deal quality

• Define and execute a strategy for acquiring and managing ISVs and aligning their Applications to Oracle cloud platform.

• Build long term, strategic relationships with the defined ISV senior executives

• Identify selected ISV apps that need to be certified on Oracle tech and Cloud for GTM.

• Create, drive and own account plans for the selected ISVs in collaboration with field and/or other teams.

• Manage and own the tracking and forecasting of pipeline to meet their territories sales targets

• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders ( e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to further develop partner strategies and processes.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years of quota-carrying sales experience in emerging technologies. Of this, at least 4 years must be in managing cloud tech sales team.

• Knowledge of subscription businesses driven by Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

• Proven sales management experience and knowledge of the region

• Self-driven individual who is motivated and enjoys the opportunity to develop new business from scratch and find new opportunities

• Strong analytical, sales, business development and technical skills preferred with the ability to influence and close sales.

• Exhibits excellent business judgment in terms of hiring and people development

• Thinks big and has convictions, and is action/results oriented

• Strong executive speaking and presentation skills - formal presentations, white boarding, large and small group presentations.

• Extensive travel within the ANZ region will be required.

• Understanding of cloud platform competitors is preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
