Senior Project Manager - ICT/Digital

The Opportunity

Silver Chain is embarking on an extensive digital transformation program.

The Portfolio Management Office is seeking a suitably experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team on a fulltime fixed term 12-month contract with the potential to extend. This role will be key in planning, co-ordinating and delivering a range of ICT/Digital focused projects within the Silver Chain portfolio.

Experience with project managing systems implementation, infrastructure, integration and cloud migrations will be essential to success in this role.

While the role could be located anywhere there is a preference for Adelaide or Perth

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, develop and co-ordinate designated project(s) to ensure agreed objectives and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget in accordance with organisational objectives
  • Effectively manage a broad range of ICT, corporate and key business key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain overall project schedules and plans, monitor and report on project activity and deliverables
  • Provide support and advice in project related manners and co-ordinate the efforts of others to ensure project targets are achieved
  • Research, analyse and evaluate project activity and strategies to ensure effective implementation and best practice
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and monitor and report project activity and deliverables to ensure objectives are achieved in a timely manner
  • Ensure that project activities comply with the Silver Chain project management framework as defined by the Portfolio Management Office, based on PRINCE2 project management methodology
