About the role

An outstanding new opportunity has become available for an experienced quantitative trader within the markets electronic trading team. Working in a dynamic and collegiate front office environment, the role focuses on expanding the market making, risk management and algorithmic trading capabilities across multiple asset classes.

The primary responsibility is to research, design and implement improvements to the in-house trading systems that enhance automated risk, execution and pricing in foreign exchange and fixed income markets. The role sits within a result’s driven multi-disciplinary team, focusing on enhancing business performance and services offered to our clients.

About you

As the successful candidate you’ll be a highly experienced quantitative analyst with a minimum of 5 years professional background in financial markets. You’ll bring a strong statistical and mathematical understanding, along with its applications in electronic financial markets within FICC. You will have extensive experience in delivering from prototype to production, working with large financial data sets, performing rigorous statistical evaluation and providing actionable insights. You will be comfortable in communicating with stakeholders across the front office.

Well-developed programming skills in quantitative analytics languages are essential – with knowledge of kdb+/q, Python and Java being advantageous.
