We’re looking for an experienced and outcome driven Tech Talent Acquisition & Community Lead to grow our technology team, whilst championing and promoting our high performance culture.

The successful candidate will not only help us grow and find the best talent for our team, but will champion and lead our technical culture both within our team and at a broader community level.

The Role

In this role you will be:

-Working closely with the tech leadership team to understand, promote and match talent to the role requirements within the software engineering team - engineers, designers, analysts etc - everyone required to build innovative software Proactively sourcing candidates - identifying, building and maintaining relationships with superstars in the technical community that would be an awesome fit for our team

-Working closely with the People & Culture team on the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract in the right talent to our team

-Ensuring every candidate gets an exceptional candidate experience, demonstrating a high quality and efficient process - just like how we like to deliver software!

-Promoting a work hard, play hard technical environment where shipping code to production for our millions of customers every day gets you out of bed too!

-Being an advocate for team ways of working including attributes such as, accountability, professionalism, diversity and open communication within the team

-Promoting, organising and coordinating cultural events - hack days, tech talks, etc. Both internally within our team and externally supporting the community on behalf of the kogan.com tech team.

The successful candidate will be/have:

-University Degree qualified

-Proven technology/IT recruitment experience in either agency or internal talent acquisition

-Demonstrated experience in successfully identifying talent, nurturing them and recruiting them into the business

-Proven experience within a fast-paced and dynamic technology environment - we want our recruitment & culture to ensure our people processes mimic the fast & effective technology processes we have!

-Excellent people and interpersonal skills.

-The ability to engage at all levels, with all different types of people.

-Understanding how to get the best out of them to contribute to and benefit from our unique technical culture.

-Awesome written communication skills – you will be able to capture our culture and communicate both verbally and in writing with candidates as well as our awesome current team

-Proficiency at working with technology and ATS to track and monitor candidates
