The role of senior Project Engineer is now available in the Melbourne office. This role carries the key responsibilities of delivering and deploying the technical roll out of equipment and systems for projects undertaken.

You will manage the process of equipment builds, installations, commissioning, training and maintenance for each project and you will play a leadership role in assisting and mentoring other project engineers within the team.

The role will also entail putting together system documentation, factory and site acceptance testing, as well as assisting with tender responses encompassing input into the specification, design and integration of various technology to achieve the deliverables of the project.

The role will see you work with world leading and cutting-edge technology, as well as on high value and critical projects throughout many industry sectors.

To be considered for the position it is essential for all candidates to have experience working in a similar/same position within the wireless communications sector.

You must have:

  • Experience and knowledge of the radio comms industry with hands on experience installing radio systems infrastructure.
  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualifications.
  • Experience in programming radio terminals and base station technology.
  • Experience and understanding of two-way radio technology spanning across analogue, conventional, trunked, P25, tetra and DMR.
  • Experience in assisting with tender responses and bid submissions within complex wireless communications infrastructure projects.
