The Opportunity:

As the Head of Strategic Partnerships – Master Trusts, you will be a senior leader in the Group Distribution team, reporting into the Head of Group Distribution, Corporate & Master Trusts. You will manage the strategic partnership team responsible for AIA’s Master Trust partners and be responsible for setting the strategy to deliver continuous innovation and growth opportunities for existing partners, as well as being a key stakeholder in new business tenders.

You will drive improvements in AIA’s strategic partnership model, ensuring that the delivery of the account management strategy evolves to meet our partners changing needs and delivers exceptional client satisfaction for our valued partners.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Lead and manage the strategic partnership team to successfully deliver on the relationship management strategy to partners and achieve retention objectives
  • Implement key product and pricing strategies to align with each partner’s objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an end-to-end high level of service for partners is achieved
  • Be the voice of the customer within AIA, ensuring that continued innovation is delivered to help partners deliver the best member experience possible
  • Deliver on the retention and financial targets from year to year, and be responsible for the expense base for the team.
  • Be a key stakeholder in new business opportunities

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in group life insurance with a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry
  • Substantial understanding of key market dynamics and an effective ability to articulate the needs of the customer value proposition
  • Knowledge of the Acts and Legislation that govern the industry with RG146 compliance being highly desirable
  • Strong ability in delivering propositions, superb customer experiences, with a particular competency in detail, execution and agility to review plans for success
