FULL REQUIREMENTS - RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Lead will be responsible for:

  • Lead and document the Project Services Build Design of the Bureau workstream solution architecture components of the Robust program.
  • Assist in the overall infrastructure design implementation of the data and integration, channels streams architecture being developed.
  • Assist in specifying the infrastructure requirements and network required to support the Robust Services architecture.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors in producing Detail Build Design deliverables including as built drawings.
  • Consultation with stream and vendor SMEs, Engineers, and Operational teams to assist with successful project build services delivery.
  • Work with the various roles and workstreams within the program.
  • Comply with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures, and take reasonable care for your
    own health and safety and that of employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by your conduct.

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate?

• A Technical Lead with skills in the following technologies:

o System administration (Unix/Linux, Windows, Remote Management, Orchestration)
o Network technologies (TCP/IP, Cisco, WAN, LAN, Wireshark, network virtualisation / wan emulation) o Scripting with Bash / Python / WMI / PowerShell
o CI/CD + DevOps (Jenkins / VMware orchestration / docker)
o Workload virtualisation / containerisation/ VMware / VirtualBox / Hyper-V / KVM+QEMU
o Ability to guide build Engineers with regard any fault finding required


• The candidate must state their agreement to have or obtain (at Bureau expense) a NV1 security clearance.

Desirable
  • Cloud technologies (AWS / Linux vhosts)
  • UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows systems security analysis.
  • Databases (MS SQL, T-SQL, MySQL/ MariaDB & Progress, Oracle)
  • Big-IP F5, load balancing, specification of firewall rules
