The Role

A high profile organisation that provides critical services to Queenslanders is looking for a Program Director who has a strong track record of delivering multiple complex business wide infrastructure programs. You will be responsible for managing $60m+ budgets and cross-functional teams of 30+ resources. The Program Director will initiate this program of work with responsibility for end-to-end implementation, including planning, business case, team mobilisation, contract management, application development, data migration, change management and 'Business-as-Usual' handover. This Program is across multiple business units, locations and a broad range of core technologies, ensuring delivery of essential ICT infrastructure to meet demands of the evolving digital environment.

This is an initial 6 month contract but will run for up to 2 years.

Your background

  • Experience working in large organisations providing effective governance, C-suite engagement and planning
  • Experience in large scale business/ ICT implementation within application and infrastructure delivery
  • Business transformation experience (extensive stakeholder engagement for sign off and funding)
  • Skilled in managing C-level executive relationships, governance, steering committees.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of customer facing programs
  • Sound understanding and practical application of resource, project risk and change management methodologies and techniques
  • Sound business case development and management / monitoring skills
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate and project procurement processes including tendering.
  • Inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach to influence a broad range of stakeholders
