We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the price change processes across Customer Markets by developing a scope of work, project plan, defined objectives and measures of success. Core to this role will be the proactive stakeholder management of external and internal stakeholders surrounding critical inputs to the price change process: Marketing, Product, Legal & Regulatory, Communications, Operations and Sales Channels.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be accountable for the development, maintenance and delivery of all price change events across Customer Markets. You will promote opportunities to improve the price change process making each event more streamlined and repeatable.

  • Proactively run project definition/scope, identification and documentation of all project activities to be completed including scoping documents and business requirement specifications during project initiation and before project execution
  • Developing a project schedule (and variations of) that ensures all project related activities are completed in the most effective manner, with focus given to appropriate controls that uphold our legislative and regulatory obligations, customer experience and achieving our budget goals and targets
  • Guide, manage and motivate the various workstreams to ensure all tasks/deliverables are completed in accordance with agreed project scope, quality and timeline
  • Responsibility and accountability for the establishment of regular and ad-hoc meeting requirements, documenting meeting outcomes and ensuring follow-up actions completed
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting project progress in accordance with the project schedule and allocated budget
About You What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Tertiary qualifications in either project management, economics, finance, business, statistics, accounting or engineering
  • Good understanding of the economic, political, financial, legal and commercial rules that underpin utility markets, economic regulation and business
  • A broad but detailed understanding of the current state of the emerging trends of the gas and electricity market and emerging products / services, including regulatory, generation, distribution and retail perspectives is highly desired
  • Highly analytical, strategic, lateral and commercial thinking ability to question the status quo
