Your new role:

We have an opportunity to join IBAC's Operations directorate as one of the 2 Director Investigations roles within our Operations division. Reporting to the Executive Director Operations the successful applicant will have extensive experience in supporting the management and collaboration of a large multi-disciplinary team which undertakes complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of corruption and serious misconduct. The successful applicant will also require having an expert understanding of the relevant legislation and industry standards.

We are looking for a Director that will lead for success by:

  • Setting the purpose, strategic direction and priorities of identified Investigations
  • Motivating and managing the teams for the timely delivery of results
  • Ensuring that priorities and work programs consider all training and developing employees and promoting continual professional development
  • Implementing continuous improvement in the Investigations business unit through collaboration and sound change management.

As a senior executive of Victoria's state anti-corruption agency, the role demands the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour.


Our requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience
  • Extensive people leadership and change management skills
  • Experience working for a Government or public interest agency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
