The Originator generates ideas and assesses opportunities for pitching new business to clients, based on a good understanding of the client’s capital structures, the competitor landscape and deep knowledge of financial markets/regulatory requirements. The Originator will have overall accountability for the smooth execution of transactions working in close partnership with relevant internal functions, ensuring adherence to Bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

Your key responsibilities:
Provide support in the origination, execution and marketing of M&A, capital markets and financing transactions:
- Prepare valuations, comparable companies, precedent transactions analysis
- Prepare financial analysis models for specific sectors and companies
- Performing extensive research on market trends/development, as well as conducting research potential buyers/investors
- Preparation of marketing/pitch book presentation materials and coordination with other deal teams across the investment bank
- Participate in substantial day-to-day client contact and client servicing
- Co-ordinate and mentor analyst team
Your skills and experience:
- At least 6 years Investment Banking experience
- Strong financial modeling / valuation and analytical skills
- Strong technology skills, including Excel and Powerpoint, and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across regions and with product partners
- Highly organised, detail oriented and proactive
- Energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity
- Motivation to work in a dynamic, international and diverse environment
- Strong interest in M&A and capital markets
Education/Qualifications:
- University Graduate or higher degree holder
