As one of the most successful cafes in town, Epilogue Lounge Cafe prides itself with offering quality coffee and original food in a city-like funky and alternative vibe. We trade for breakfast and lunch, 6 days a week.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a new Café Manager to run the venue and its team.

A list of duties and responsibilities are included to but not limited to those below:

• Recruit, hire and oversee training of staff.
• Roster front and back of house staff to a rotating weekly roster
• Co-create a menu with the kitchen that is appropriate for the demographics of the location and price items based on a cost analysis.
• Plan and organise function menus.
• Estimate and budget food and beverage consumption on a quarterly basis.
• Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service. 
• Devise and monitor the inventory system
• Meet with sales representatives to order supplies for front of house and beverages. 
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services as required. 
• Prepare end of day report by balancing total receipts against total sales.
• Open and close cafe on rostered days.
• ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Promote and market the establishment to local businesses and residents.
• Be responsible for service during operational hours, including taking reservations, orders, bill preparation, etc.
