Important Notice:
Please be advised that this role will initially be located in Waymouth Street, Adelaide SA 5000, however, it will be relocated to the new Emergency Services Headquarters at Richmond Road, Keswick, SA 5037 in 2021.

Employment Period:

Primary Purpose:
Development and implementation of the SACFS Strategic Asset Management Plan, and supporting plans, information systems and tools.
Development of SACFS asset management procedures, processes and guidelines.
Implementing and monitoring the delivery of the SA Government Asset Management Framework, it’s supporting strategies, policies, initiatives and related projects in line with Asset Management Standard AS ISO 55001, SACFS Strategic Goals and Asset Management Objectives.
Development of a standard suite of asset management documentation in accordance with SACFS Strategic Goals and Asset Management Objectives.
Contribute to future Capital Investment planning and management by undertaking a key role in the Capital Program for SACFS, ensuring alignment with the SA Government Asset Management Objectives and Framework.
Ensure performance against agreed benchmarks is reviewed and reported on, ensuring alignment with the SA Government Asset Management Framework and compliance with legislative objectives.
Enable effective use of the Whole of Government, Emergency Services Sector and SACFS Asset Management Information Systems (with relevant governance mechanisms) to deliver long-term asset management strategies and plan that align with SACFS Strategic Goals and Asset Management Objectives.
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders that effectively enable a team-based culture in the delivery of consistent asset management activities across the programs.
Provision of sound Asset Management discipline advice and guidance, to build knowledge and capability of others within SACFS.
