Your day to day
Responsible for the efficient handling of guest luggage, guest vehicles, adhering to proper check-in and check-out procedures, checking/maintaining the cleanliness of ground floor lobby and main entrance.
Be thoroughly aware of arrivals and departures of each day by working closely with chief concierge, night manager and assistant night manager.
Manage the valet parking of guest's cars properly and in a timely manner.

Provide tourist maps, information and brochures
Ensure WH&S standards and procedures are in place keep knowledge up to date on hazards, operating procedures, use and maintenance of equipment and emergency response procedures.

What we need from you
Communication skills - guest will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
Experience - Ideally you 've spent at least 1 year in a porter role
Have a valid Full Australian drivers licence and capability to drive a manual vehicle
Your problem solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guests leaves with great memories
Fluency in English - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
Flexibility- night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
Compliant - you’ll be above minimum age required Strong - sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs.
Literate and Tech- Savvy - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math and computers.
