We are currently seeking an experienced Liaison Officer to join the team within a Federal Government Agency. This position will be APS6 Equivalent and can be based in in the Adelaide CBD or Elizabeth.
The Role
The APS6 Liaison Officer will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues. You may liaise with a range of internal ad external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the Agency.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Liaising with Agency business areas to ensure participants have appropriate supports in place within health or justice settings, and when transitioning into communities
Assisting to address challenges or delays in access or planning decisions, ensuring timely and safe transition back into the community
Providing guidance and advice regarding processes and procedures
Developing initiatives to build networks across the health or justice sector, raising awareness and representing the Agency at forums
Providing clear and regular communications to promote understanding of the Agency to external stakeholders in health or justice settings

About You

To be successful in the role, you will need:
Experience in interpreting and explaining policies and procedures, providing advice and assistance
Ability to interpret and anaylse information to select an appropriate course of action
Ability to develop and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills
